Lockheed Martins F-35 Lightning II is a single-engine, single seater 5th Generation fighter developed with three distinct variants, each enjoying extremely low observability and excellent connectivity: the F-35A, F-35B and the F-35C – aircraft have been delivered since 2015. The F-35C has larger wings and horizontal and vertical stabilizers than other F-35 variants and folding wingtips in light of its carrier deployment design, as well as a larger fuel capacity and a reinforced nose landing gear with dual tires to help it withstand the punishment of carrier landings, plus a launch bar for catapult assisted takeoffs. Its low observability promises to give U.S. Navy operations a new dimension.

About the Model
This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 215mm, wingspan: 148mm. The extremely stealthy F-35B is recreated with great accuracy, including finely molded raised RAM sections. Choose whether to assemble the model as landed or hovering. The aircraft is depicted with the nozzle pointing downward, and various doors open. 2 different sets of landing gear parts (compressed and extended) are included. AIM-9X and AIM-120C ordnance is included. Comes with a pilot figure, stand for a hovering F-35B model, and 5 marking options.
